Tracing SEO's history is like trying to trace the handshake's history. It's an important part of industry, we all know and we know that it exists. 2000 - 2002
But Moz said the guidelines had not really affected the ranking yet, so that people did not try to follow them. This is partly because the number of inbound links to a specific page has been based on PageRank - the higher the ranking. There was no way to test the validity of these links, but the Marketing Technology Blog said that these back linking methods could still be used to identify pages that were still not connected to research requirements at the beginning of the 2000s.
But in 2001, Brin and Page came out in "Charlie Rose" when the host asked, and asked, "Is this working so good?" In his response, Brin stressed, "Brin was a search engine at the time and was looking at nothing more and looked at "the site as a whole and not just the words that appear on each page."
2010-Now
